Music In Our Bones overcomes isolation by uniting people in joyful song

Our Vision

Music In our Bones believes that singing with others offers a profound joyful sense of community, lifts spirits and frees us to feel more fully alive. Singing is our birthright.

Our Mission

Passionate that everyone should have the chance to sing with others, our mission is to help people overcome isolation, disadvantage, and lack of opportunity and confidence. In creating vibrant harmony singing communities in accessible venues across Suffolk, we reach and support people to discover that they CAN sing!

Music In Our Bones runs accessible singing groups for anyone who would like to sing in harmony with others in Ipswich, Gt Blakenham, Felixstowe, Bury, Stowmarket and Carlton Colville. No musical experience is needed, just a love of music and the desire to become more confident as a singer! Fran Flower, Jennie Fisk and Tracy Sharp are its founders.

We specialise in bringing harmony singing to Family Carers and to people managing the physical and mental health issues which can affect us all. Our groups reach people managing life with Parkinsons’, Stroke, MS, dementia, anxiety, depression, bereavement and recovery from enduring mental health issues. Have a look and see if any of our groups would suit you:
